Hey beautiful souls, I'm Zoe. Let me tell you my story.
My journey started as a child, my mum was a brilliant, passionate, and very intuitive healer. She brought me up in a world of mindfulness, crystals, meditation, and holistic healing practices. Back then all this was all very alternative and very much a Glastonbury, hippy vibe, and as a teenager I found it extremely embarrassing when she was hugging trees as I do today. This way of living is deeply ingrained into me and it’s in my blood and the air that I breathe.
Nature has always been a place of comfort, a place to sit and think and process my thoughts, however back then I didn’t know there was actually a reason behind why nature helped elevate my mood.
I started my journey with health and nutrition after I became a mum to my 2 children. After prolonged periods of illnesses I knew that there must be a better way to help prevent, and cure them, rather than the amount of different medications they were taking. After much research I started checking food labels, cooking from scratch, and incorporating a wide variety of different fruits and vegetables into our meals.
I now have a deeper understanding and a huge love for food and the health benefits it has. Not only did this help prevent the nursery and school illness rounds, but it also started helping aid health problems I had learnt to live with.
I am an accredited & insured holistic health and nutrition coach.
Accredited by International practitioners of holistic medicine.
I have a diploma in culinary medicine, which I gained at the accredited culinary medicine college, ran by Dale Pinnock. This gave me a vast knowledge of nutrition and how food works in and for our body. Since completing my diploma I have also studied and gained accredited diplomas in teaching meditation, shinrin yoku (forest bathing,) and holistic health coaching. Most recently I have completed a course in spiritual coaching.
My qualifications have gained me the confidence and knowledge to help you obtain a whole lifestyle approach to health and wellness. Being healthy, in my opinion, cant be achieved through one method, but can be achieved by looking at all areas of your life and taking small steps that will help you obtain a healthy lifestyle, for your mind and your body.
I also work as an associate with Kay Johnson MBE, at The Larder (Lancashire and Region Dietary Education Resource) and The Gut Health Guru’s.
The work we do with The Larder is community based, helping to empower people in marginalised communities with their health and wellbeing.
The Gut Health Guru’s is where we talk all about the power of looking after your gut and why looking after your gut health is important for your overall health and wellbeing.
